Today I wanted to address that new Google+. I've taken a look at it, played around a little bit and I've come to the conclusion that Google+ would've been hot if it was launched in conjunction with Gmail back in the early 00's because back then EVERYONE wanted an invite to Gmail. Back then, it could have been a serious competitor to Facebook but now it's essentially Google Buzz with a Twitter-esque make over.

Everyone has the right to their own opinion but I think the way that Glenn Beck and others at Fox News twist the truth and rewrite history to validate their hateful views is unacceptable and reckless!

I have lots of strong ideas about education in our country. I believe the real solution lies in the quality of the curriculum, the learning environment and the instructors. I also believe that a change in how we approach the school day is important as well. For example instead of seven hours of class punctuated with a short lunch period maybe it should be three or four classes with an activity (sports? study period?) followed by a longer lunch and then more classes in the afternoon.
